The department encompasses seven divisions dedicated to maintaining and operating the community’s complex infrastructure. It is also one of the largest departments within the City employing approximately 30 employees. The divisions within the Public Works Department include: Public Works Administration, Parks, Water and Wastewater, Street, Inspection/Code Enforcement, and Fleet Operations. The collective group maintains all City-owned properties, equipment and vehicles, water mains, sanitary and storm sewers, streets, bike paths, traffic control systems and antique lights.
