The City of Haysville has its own court system with a Court Clerk, Assistant Court Clerk, Probation Officer, Judge and Prosecuting Attorneys.
The court office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays. The court office is open until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays.
Trials are held the second and fourth Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. and arraignments are held the first and third Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. at City Hall, 200 West Grand Avenue.
Appropriate attire is required for attendance in court. Shorts and halter tops are not allowed and shoes are required in court .
Payments
Court payments can be made at City Hall and involves first a visit with the Court Clerk. Payments must be made to City Clerk staff in the upper level and must be accompanied by a receipt from the Court office. The City accepts in-state checks, cash and money orders.
Diversion Programs
Diversions may be available for the following if it
a first time offense: -Battery (including domestic violence) -Criminal damage to property Purchase, possession or consumption of alcohol Transport open container
Information regarding fees and requirements can be obtained from the Probation Officer.
Probation
The City of Haysville Probation Officer is responsible for maintaining records on all individuals required to be on probation for various reasons by the Judge. Many will be required to physically report to the Probation Officer once a month and may, as a condition of their probation, have to attend training or counseling during their probation.

Programs: One option sometimes made available to offenders is community service. This alternative to paying money for a fine is intended to provide a means of paying off an amount due the City by working a specified number of hours rather than actually paying money.
